Maintenance Technician

Role

As a Maintenance Technician (also known as Equipment Repair Specialist, Maintenance Mechanic), you'll perform mid to expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance. This includes observing devices in operation to locate root causes of problems, dismantling devices to remove defective parts, adjusting functional parts of devices and control instruments, repairing or replacing defective parts, and testing devices to observe performance. You may also be required to operate multiple machining operations and perform welding tasks.

Qualifications
  • High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
  • Associates degree with a Technical focus and 3 years of related experience in general industry; or 5 years of related experience in general industry.
  • Understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems, and ability to analyze problems and perform repairs.
