Maintenance Technician

Role

As a Maintenance Technician (also known as Repair Technician, Maintenance Mechanic), you'll perform entry to mid-level break-fix and preventative maintenance. This includes adjusting functional parts of devices and control instruments, repairing or replacing defective parts, and reconditioning or repairing machine tools. You may also be required to operate simple machining operations, perform basic welding tasks, and troubleshoot control systems circuitry.

Qualifications
  • High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
  • Associates degree with a Technical focus or 18 months of related experience in general industry.
  • Understanding of basic electrical and mechanical systems and ability to perform repairs.
