Maintenance Technician

Role

As a Maintenance Technician (also known as Maintenance Mechanic, Maintenance Engineer), you'll perform entry to mid-level break-fix and preventative maintenance, adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments, repair or replace defective parts, and operate simple machining operations. You'll also contribute to team efforts, participate in continuous improvement activities, and adhere to safety and housekeeping standards.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Associates degree with a Technical focus or 18 months of related experience in general industry.
  • Understanding of basic electrical and mechanical systems and ability to perform repairs.
  • Ability to use basic hand tools.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.
