Role

As a Quality Engineer (also known as Quality Assurance Engineer, Quality Control Engineer), you'll lead customer quality interactions, focus on scrap reduction, coordinate with various teams for optimal performance, ensure process audits, lead reviews, control budget, act as the customer representative, support customer visits, acknowledge customer quality concerns, work with all functions of the organization, facilitate effective feedback, undertake training, execute a quality improvement plan, review blueprints, visit customer sites, work with suppliers, develop methods for inspection, design forms for data recording, compile training materials, participate in machine evaluations, participate in facility problem solving activities, procure gages, apply SPC, coordinate requirements, co-author PFMEA/Control Plan development, and understand significant environmental aspects of the job.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent level of education.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • 3 years minimum as Quality Engineer in the automotive industry or related position.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with core quality tools, including PPAP, DFMEA/PFMEA, PCR and SPC.
  • Experience/training with ISO9001:2016/IATF16949 16949 systems.
