CNC Programmer

Role

As a Programming Engineer (also known as CNC Programmer, Manufacturing Engineer), you'll provide engineering support to the production facility, produce CNC programs, setup sheets, and inspection data. You'll also create tooling solutions to convert customer specifications into CNC machined parts. Your duties will include reviewing 3D models, providing CNC programming, creating and maintaining documentation, setting up and proving out programs at the machine, and conferring with planning and design staff to ensure efficient production methods.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a certificate in CNC programming from a technical college.
  • At least five years of experience as a CNC programmer or manufacturing-based mechanical engineer.
  • Strong language, mathematical, and reasoning skills.
  • Ability to handle physical demands such as reaching, standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Good vision abilities including close vision, depth perception, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
